Centro Cultural en Palermo Hollywood

A veces violenta, otras afable. En Buenos Aires pasa de todo. Un café a las 5 am mientras se lee el diario sobre la avenida Corrientes , o podés tomar una birra cuando te regalan un show; porque se abrió un portón al fondo de un teatro. Sorpresa. Y es que es una ciudad grande; con todas las ventajas de conglomerarse; desde subtes hasta el anonimato.

Busca la relación con la escala urbana; implantado con 5 volúmenes. Cuatro forman, en el centro de la manzana, una plaza. Teatro, bar, museo, y un edificio con oficinas (con la administración, salas de ensayo, servicios donde trabajan personas) son las piezas que la definen. Por la cercanía al tren, donde las calles se cortan y los visitantes a veces se pierden, una torre de ladrillos; tranquila, pesada, cierra la composición llamando a la gente “a la función” a la vez que contiene los servicios.

Gente pasando, paseando, parando, estando, garchando, mirando, mirándose, hablándose. Lo que hace que Palermo sea Palermo son los lugares donde esto ocurre; parques y plazas, personas los usan, descansan, frecuentan, se besan, se encuentran y charlan.

PLANTA BAJA / GROUND FLOOR

SUBSUELO / LOW LEVEL

El subsuelo enlaza todo; lo administrativo con los depósitos, baños y el acceso entre camarines y la sala teatral. Aquí un gran pasillo de servicios y otro para los actores. En este nivel los patios ingleses son dos; a uno ventilan todos los camarines y, por el otro lado, el patio de esculturas invita desde Dorrego y Zapiola a pispear el museo.

PRIMER PISO / FIRST FLOOR

Por el amor al arte

El ladrillo es acogedor y en Buenos Aires hay mucho; es noble y económico. Permite curvas, según Le Corbusier, el camino del asno. Y es que el asno es sereno, zigzaguea, recorre, podría decirse un trazo lúdico; como el arte en un museo o un baile en el teatro.

En el predio donde se diseñaron estos edificios, hay un gran techo que sirve de mucho a la comunidad. Por ejemplo, una popular radio de Buenos Aires lo organizó como centro logístico para recibir y repartir alimentos por las inundaciones que hubo en el año 2015.

Como en el lugar se hacen eventos de la comunidad, se proponen diferentes estructuras para conservar algo, que para la arquitectura es un acierto; servir a las personas. Por eso se decidió diseñar techos que puedan adosarse al proyecto que originalmente no permitía este tipo de uso.

 

Arquitectura Metabolista

Mientras se diseñó el proyecto, el el corazón del lugar se fue abriendo. Dio lugar a una plaza.

Se estudiaron techos para mantener las actividades colectivas extra que en Buenos Aires ofrece hoy el predio.

Prueba de «la nube». Consistió en determinar cuál sería el espacio que se necesitaría para el centro en una ciudad cada vez más llena.

Log information
